Deena K. Herndon-Tootle is a Texas-licensed attorney who graduated from the University of Houston Law Center and provides legal services related to estate planning, probate, business law, and family law. Born and raised in Texas, Deena is a fifth-generation Texan. She lives in Boerne, a city northwest of San Antonio located in the Texas hill country. From her virtual office, Deena assists clients throughout Texas.
Born in Uvalde, Deena was raised in the San Antonio and Houston areas, graduating from The Woodlands High School in 1997. Deena then attended and graduated from Southwest Texas State University (currently Texas State University) where she majored in both English and psychology and graduated with honors. After graduation, Deena worked at a company in The Woodlands that specializes in the development and implementation of customized leadership, management, and sales training programs for pharmaceutical and biotech companies, serving in various roles including Managing Editor and Lead Project Manager. In 2011, Deena, as a mother of two children, returned to school and attended the University of Houston Law Center.
While there, she received several awards and scholarships, served as Editor and Chief of the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy, served as an intern at both the Texas 14th Court of Appeals and the 190th Civil District Court in Houston, published a feature article in the Loyola Consumer Law Review, and, upon graduation, was inducted into the National Order of Scribes. After graduation, Deena was employed by law firms located in The Woodlands before moving to Boerne in 2017.
Deena believes in customizing her services to her clients' unique needs. She strives to be compassionate, authentic, strategic, realistic, and efficient when helping clients achieve their goals. Deena assists clients with planning for and managing important life events, including, but not limited to, marriage, divorce, children, business transactions, incapacity, and death.
